Small but Fun Adventures

Stillwater, OK - Breckenridge, OK - Pawnee, OK
July 18-22, 2012
Total Mileage: 330

Normally, I would not blog about my adventures within Stillwater, but this week was too fun not to mention.  Keegan aged another year and we celebrated our one year engagement anniversary!

The festivities kicked off on Wednesday night as the "group" got together to see Hosty Duo play at Joe's for their anniversary week.  We had a wonderful night listening to the very talented musicians.  In addition to Joe's we planned a dinner for one of Keegan's favorite meals, the all-you-can-eat catfish at Boomarang.

Following Boomarang, we experienced one of the best nights in Stillwater with some great friends. Our initial thought was to have a quiet night and head home, but once we started playing foosball, the quiet part went out the door.  Foosball and shuffleboard kept us entertained with fun until early Saturday morning even though I didn't win one of the contests.

Saturday was filled with travel.  Keegan's mom and I went to a small town outside of Enid, Breckenridge, for (soon-to-be-born) baby Remington's shower.  I "kidnapped" our cousin and brought her back with us to Stillwater to enjoy the Joe's outdoor concert that night.  We had a great dinner at Brooklyn's and then headed with a big group of friends to listen to Jonathan Tyler & the Northern Lights and Taddy Porter.  The bands performed well and we ended the night hanging out at the Joe's rooftop.

Barely moving the next morning we made our way to Granny's Kitchen in downtown Stillwater to experience some good "home cooking."  Sunday funday continued with Keegan and I driving his cousin back to Medford and backroading a bit in Grant County, Keegan's comfort county.  And the day ended with an evening trip to Sooner Lake with another great couple and their family.  What an amazing five days that we spent this week, appreciative for everyday that we got to spend together and with friends!

Magnificent: Hanging out every night of the week with wonderful friends without any worries
Manure: The feeling on Sunday morning
Shuffleboard & Friends!
